Late Posting

Well I havent posted in a while because I've had finals. And I'd like to report that I got straight A's this semester. This is the first time in history so I'm proud of myself. These pictures are of us taking the kids sledding last sunday. We have this field by our house so we decided to take the kids out for a little bit. The wind was so cold I think we were only out there for 20 minutes.

My rockstar

Gavins favorite thing to do is play the guitar. He is constantly stealing this guitar from Zander so that he can rock out. He is so freakin cute he always goes around the house singing and jammin out. He can also turn anything into an intsrument, its amazing how creative kids can be. His new thing is squinting his eyes whenever he puts on a cheeser grin.

Caitlins Dance Recital

Caitlin had her Christmas dance recital last night at Taylorsville High School. Her class danced to Sleigh Ride and she did such an awesome job! I asked her if she was scared because the auditorium was full! And she just simply replyed um no, if I get stage fright I just take a deep breath in and its gone. I have to say she is alot braver then I was at her age. Being the mom of the year that Iam when I decided to record her recital I had the camera turned on and ready to go and as soon as I pushed record the screen flashe disc full! I was so mad, so luckily grandma recorded the dance. Sometimes Iam such a air head I swear. OH ya sorry about the pictures I tried to rotate them but it diddnt work.

Our own survivorman

Sorry this posting is supposed to go with the picture below. So my cute little Zander was playing outside by himself, well I went outside and found that he was roasting a stuffed frog. I thought it was funny. I asked what he was doing and he said that he was making dinner, like it was no big thing. I dont know if I should be worried about this kid, I just figure he's getting ready to be the next surviorman.

cheeseballs

Heres a picture of my cute kids right after their bath. Sometimes they can be so cute and make up for all the mischeif they get into. I could not imagine my life without these little cheeseballs they some how seem to always put a smile on my face when Im having a bad day.

Once there was a snowman

Can you beleive the snow? What the heck. Since I had worked the night before I was easily convinced to let them stay home and play in the snow. The kids were up at 7:30 a.m. and outside playing in the snow. They were so exicted to see snow again. This was the first time that Gavin played in the snow and he loved it. All though I came outside to see him walking around holding his boots trying to get Caitlin to put them back on for hime it was sad but cute at the same time. It was fun to see the kids having a good time with this aweful stuff. HAHA I only let Gavin stay out for a few minutes cuz he is the last person I want getting sick this winter, and boy was he pissed that I made him come in. It was a fun snow day, although I did wake up to a flat tire, I guess thats what you get for letting your kids stay home from school.

Halloween

This year Halloween was alot of fun. Caitlin was a witch, Zander was a Ninja, and Gavin was a Dragon. I took the kids over to Jordan Landing for some trick or treating, then we came home and Brad took them and some friends and cousins around the neighborhood trick or treating. Later the adults had their own dress up party. It was alot of fun. Of course the kids ended up with way too much candy.

Halloween

falling leaves

Me, Gavin, and Zander were over at the neighbors and they decided to play in the leaves. It was so much fun to watch them run and fall in the big piles they piled up. I even had to jump in a pile. Too much fun!

Gavins Story

If anyone is interested in reading about the hard start our third son Gavin had I have made a blog for him. It is listed under my peeps as Gavins story. Hope you will enjoy.

Zanders Fire Pit

I went out side the other day and found Zander was rubbing two stick together trying to start a fire in his firepit that he made on his own. I thought it was cute because he was rubbing those sticks as hard as he could. Unfortunately he never created a fire.

Catching Grasshoppers

This last weekend we went out to Vernal to see Grandpa Ainge. The kids decided to catch grasshoppers and it was hilarious. Caitling was the catcher and every time she caught one she would scream bloody murder. Zander was the bottle holder he would bring me the bottle each time so I could open the lid and Caitlin would put the grasshopper in the jar. And Gavin would pretty much just chase the kids around laughing at them. They had about twenty grasshoppers in this jar when they were done.

Gavins Dinosaur Party

We had a busy month in September, because Gavin also had a birthday. I cant beleive he is two already, time sure does fly. Gavin loves dinosaurs so he had a blast at his party. He got so many toy dinosaurs and would just sit and roar and chase people around. He also had a blast with the amazing singing spiderman. Mommy decided to be adventurous and make a smoking volcano cake. His party was alot of fun.

Zanders Tony Hawk Birthday

Zander turned five in September, and for his birthday he really wanted a skate board ramp. So like a good daddy Brad made him a quarter pipe. All the kids and adults had a blast and suprisingly none of the adults got hurt on it. All of Zanders friends and family came over for a big BBQ, it was quite the fun Tony Hawk party.

Well I cant beleive Im actually a blogger now. I did something I said I would never do. Every one else is doing it so I might as well. I started nursing school so I pretty much have no time for anything else. I probably cant keep up with the rest of the professional bloggers out there but hopefully you'll enjoy.
